Hunter Douglas Limited employees joined in the Chinese New Year fun at Cockle Bay on Sunday, 28th February 2010 participating in the Chinese New Year Dragon Boat Races.

Over 3,000 paddlers participated in the Chinese New Year event which is the largest Dragon Boat meet in the southern hemisphere. The boats race to the beat of the drum, in a heart stopping competition and a brilliant array of colour. Thousands of spectators turned up on the day to cheer on all the paddlers, adding to the excitement and atmosphere.

The Hunter Douglas Team consisted of novice paddlers but the result was impressive with an equal fourth positioning for the first race and second positioning in the next two races, with a consistent time of 1.12 minutes.

Hunter Douglas Limited has launched a new Corporate website that showcases information on all of the company's divisions.
