Hunter Douglas Limited is an environmentally responsible business focused on reducing our carbon footprtint through responsible environmental practices.

We believe we have an obligation to be responsible environmental stewards in our local communities wherever we do business. We comply with all applicable laws and regulations and implement programs and procedures to assure compliance.

We empower our employees and contractors with the ability and knowledge to act in an environmentally responsible manner.

Recycling has become the norm throughout Hunter Douglas Limited. Hunter Douglas Limited recycles approximately 22 cubic metres per week of cardboard and paper, largely derived from suppliers’ packaging. Timber waste, scrap metals and waste oils are segregated and recycled. Water from manufacturing processes is even recycled in our trade waste plant as rinse water, conserving an estimated 50,000 litres of ‘clean water’ weekly.

We are constantly developing new and exciting products that are environmentally sustainable and have low VOCs.
